incoming mail. Now if there are a lot of emails coming in,especially if some of them contain photo attachments, this process can take a considerable amount of time as I don't have broadband access,so that if I log off after say half an hour then maybe 10 out of 15 emails have downloaded, but, when I log on again, because I hadn't finished downloading the previous time, the whole process starts again at the very beginning. Is there some way to "save" what's been downloaded and remove it from the incoming mails so that when I log on the next time the downloading would start at email 11,where it finished off the last time, instead of having to start the whole lot again? If so how?
When I open IE for my emails a message appears saying 'Downloading mail' and it then proceeds to download anymicrosoft windows
There are a few reasons why your attachment might not appear correctly:
You might have problems viewing an attachment if your browser is not properly configured to view that type of file. Usually, the easiest solution is to upgrade your browser to the most recent version:
Download the Firefox browser
Download the Internet Explorer browser
If you're having trouble reading an Adobe PDF file, you'll need to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which allows you to open and read these types of files..
You might also have problems viewing an attachment if it was sent in an unreadable "encoding type." When a message is sent, the sender might be able to choose an encoding type. If possible, the sender should use MIME encoding.
